South Isles (full day)


Cross the Churchill Barriers to explore the wartime history, rich archeology, art and crafts, culture and wildlife. Enjoy panoramic views of the linked South Isles and Scapa Flow.

The tour includes the stunning Italian Chapel, the picturesque waterfront villages of Herston and St Margaret’s Hope, Hoxa Head and Tapestry Gallery, and the Neolithic Tomb of the Eagles.

Christian Orkney (half or full day)


Enjoy a unique experience with a guide who is immersed in Christian history and education. Follow the footsteps of St Magnus from Birsay, via St Olaf’s Kirk to the magnificent Cathedral in Kirkwall.

We can also include Earl Hakon’s round church at Orphir, the Italian Chapel, and other private chapels and sites of Christian heritage.

Town Walks


Take an insightful conducted walking tour of Kirkwall (2.5 hours) or Stromness (1.5 hours).

Kirkwall’s heritage dates from Viking times, with fascinating history, characters, buildings and townscape. Includes the magnificent Cathedral and the Bishop’s and Earl’s Palaces.

Stromness is a stunningly situated waterfront town, with an extraordinary heritage including fishing, whaling, pirates, Arctic explorers, poets, artists, and a strategic military role.
